I think today, the Fillipino nation is again united the way it was in 1986. Ninety-nine percent are very admiring, sympathetic and grateful for what she and Ninoy have done for us.

It’s sure is right what Saguisag said.

I was in front of there house waiting however, I don’t actually recall what the purpose of our visit. I was with my family I think at that time barely high school wanting to get a glimpse of Chris. The reason why we were there is because we somewhat kind of in a “connection” or (kakila) because my uncle was the doctor of Ninoy when he received surgery for triple bypass of the heart. Anyway, because of that I had a glimpse of Cory when she was running about inside the house in Times street…. and out of nowhere here comes a burly looking guy bringing some mugs. Mugs for coffee. Yellow mugs with a signature ” I drank coffee with Cory ” ….and that was it. Although i didn’t had the chance to see Cory and likewise Chris I had or our family had this mug which was more than a collectible, given to us a sign of gesture or something.
That event was still unclear to me why we where there, but for one thing I remember is that our family received something more.
The Cory mug is still here. I just hope she remains with us forever.
Maraming Salamat po Tita Cory.
